I am an experienced, award-nominated Director who specialises in premium documentaries on challenging and sensitive subjects. I am comfortable grappling with complex narratives, journalism and Specialist Factual content whilst capturing the compelling human stories at their heart. Recent topics include international politics, war crimes, sexual assault, medical and scientific innovation, domestic violence, murder and mental health.

I have recently produced and directed several premium archive and retrospective films, blending material from multiple sources and decades alongside master interviews and observational material. I have produced and directed on a number of award-winning and award-nominated films including the BAFTA and RTS-nominated Catching a Killer strand for Channel 4. My most recent BBC2 single was shortlisted for Best Science Documentary at The Grierson Awards in 2022. BBC Film "I Call Him By His Name" featuring the testimony of widows and mothers from Bucha, Ukraine won Best Documentary at The Foreign Press Association Awards 2022.

I am a confident self-shooter and experienced crew director recognised for my sharp cinematographic instinct, most recently directing a multi-camera crew of six on location in the US. I am comfortable building a strong working rapport with interviewees, from vulnerable contributors to politicians, academics, experts and celebrity talent.

I also enjoy working in Development alongside directing and have seen a number of my own ideas through from commission to delivery.
